West Bengal Oasis Scholarship
The full name of OASIS is Online Application for Scholarship in Studies. The OASIS Scholarship is being conducted by the backward classes welfare department and tribal development department of West Bengal. In this scholarship scheme only students of Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC), and Minority Communities of West Bengal can apply. Eligibility Criteria:
To apply for the OASIS Scholarship, the candidate has to fulfill certain eligibility criteria. For different scholarships the eligibility criteria are different. Whose details we have shared in this article. The main eligibility criteria is that the candidate should be a permanent resident of West Bengal.
Pre-matric scholarship for SC students
- The Candidates Should be a student of class 9th and 10th and belong to SC category.
- The family/guardian income should not be more than INR 2 Lakh per annum from all sources.
Pre-matric scholarship for ST students
- The Candidates Should be a student of class 9th and 10th and belong to ST category.
- The family/guardian income should not be more than INR 2 Lakh per annum from all sources.
Post-matric scholarship for SC/ST students
- The candidate should be studying at the post-secondary or post-matriculation level and belong to SC/ST category.
- The annual income of parents/guardian should not be more than INR 2.5 Lakh from all sources.
Post-matric scholarship for OBC students
- The Candidate Should be studying at the post-secondary level and belong to OBC category.
- The annual income of the family/guardian from all sources should not be more than INR 1 Lak

OASIS Scholarship 2023 Application Procedure
Interested and eligible candidates who want to apply online for OASIS Scholarship 2023, follow the method given below: –
- First of all, the candidate has to go to the official website of OASIS oasis.gov.in.
- After opening the website, you will see the option of “Student’s Registration” on the home page. Click on it.
- After clicking on the option, the next page will open.
- On this page, you have to choose the district in which your institution is situated.
- Now the caste certificate verification page will open on your computer screen.
- Enter all the information asked on this page and click on the “Submit” button.
- In this way, you will be successfully registered on the portal.
- Now you have to log in to the portal.
- After logging in, the application form will open.
- Enter all the information asked in the form and click on the button “Save And Proceed”.
- After this, you take a printout of your application form.
- Submit it along with all supporting documents to the concerned Block Development Officer (BDO) along with PO cum DWO for the block area or the Municipality Corporation.
