NEET Result 2022 Release Date- When Will NTA Declare NEET UG 2022 Results?

The NEET UG result 2022 will be declared between 14 Aug to 20 August 2022 in online mode only and no hard copy of the NEET UG scorecard will be sent to the candidates by post. NEET UG exam was held on Sun, 17 Jul, 2022 and over 15 lakh candidates appeared for the exam. NEET UG Examination Result 2022 will be released soon on its official website.

NEET Result 2022 Release Date

Candidates who gave the examination can check their NEET UG results 2022 on August 20th by entering their roll number and date of birth on the login page.

NEET UG Results 2022

NEET 2022 will be a 3-hour long exam and will be conducted in 11 languages across 154 cities in India. A total of 15 lakh candidates are expected to sit for the exam which is the only entrance examination for MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, BSMS, BUMS courses offered by Medical, Dental, Ayush colleges in India.

Admission to all seats in various medical/dental colleges shall be done through NEET (UG)-2022. This includes both Government and private colleges, universities, Deemed Universities across the country.

When Will NTA Declare NEET UG 2022 Results? 

NEET UG 2022 result will mention the name of the qualified candidates, NEET UG roll number, NEET UG scores and percentile. Candidates who have qualified NEET UG with minimum qualifying percentile will be called for NEET UG counselling.

To qualify in NEET UG, candidates must secure a minimum of 50th percentile marks in the entrance examination. Those belonging to the SC/ST/OBC category must secure a minimum of 40th percentile marks to qualify.

Candidates who have qualified in NEET UG will be eligible to apply for admission to MBBS and BDS courses offered by various medical and dental colleges across the country.

NEET UG 2022 Qualifying Percentile

Candidates must secure minimum qualifying percentile in NEET UG to get eligible for admission. The table below mentions NEET UG qualifying percentile for different categories:

General- 50th Percentile

SC/ST/OBC- 40th Percentile

PWD- 45th Percentile

NEET UG 2022 Cut Off Score

The NEET UG cut off score is the minimum marks required by a candidate to qualify NEET UG. NEET UG cut off score will be released along with NEET UG result. Candidates can check the NEET UG previous year’s cutoff score from the table below:

NEET UG 2022 Merit List

The National Eligibility and Entrance Test (NEET) UG merit list will be generated on the basis of NEET UG scores and percentile. After the declaration of the NEET result, NTA will provide the NEET UG merit list in online mode. The position on the NEET UG merit list may be checked by candidates. Candidates with better ranks will be called for an interview based on their NEET UG rank. On the basis of the NEET UGT rank, qualified individuals will be offered places in MBBS and BDS programs.
